The Ins and Outs of College Athletics

Student-athletes interested in pursuing sports at the collegiate level had the chance to hear from an expert in the field this week. Kent Denver welcomed former UC Berkeley women’s soccer coach Jennifer “JT” Thomas to campus for an evening presentation with families Tuesday night and a morning workshop with Upper School athletes on Wednesday.

JT provided insights into the college recruiting process and helpful tips for student-athletes and their families. She also walked through the new NCAA rules and regulations, including the trickle-down impact of NIL on graduating high school seniors. Kent Denver families can watch her evening presentation in the Parent Portal.
