Students Learn from Alumni in Athletics & Wellness

Homecoming Weekend featured an Alumni in Athletics and Wellness panel during a special all-school assembly last Friday. Kent Denver was excited to welcome back several notable alumni who shared their journeys from college athletics to their current fields, including: 

• Lauren Miller Apple ’06: Sports Psychology Clinician & Former DI Field Hockey Player
• Chloé Graves ’13: Physical Therapy Practitioner & Former DIII Basketball Player
• Jackson Klutznick ’19: Investment Analyst & Former DI Golfer

Moderated by Director of Athletics Jeff Hollway, the alumni touched on everything from the power of curiosity and getting outside your comfort zone to expanding your mindset when it comes to playing sports in college.

“You can start your athletic career at any level,” Jackson said. “NAIA, Division III, Division II, Division I—all of them give you optionality to get to the top of your game. You can do it from any level, as long as you have the passion and the drive to want to continue it into college.”
