Speech and Debate Success at Recent Tournament

Speech and Debate Success at Recent Tournament

Kent Denver’s Speech and Debate students are continuing to shine following their most recent tournament, the Dual School Duel at DSST: Cedar this past weekend. A big congratulations to Noah H. ’26 for taking first place in United States Extemporaneous Speaking. This is the second time this school year that Noah was Tournament Champion in this category. We’d also like to recognize several other KDS students for their amazing tournament results:

  • Samuel A. ’27: 6th place in International Extemporaneous Speaking
  • Akhil A. ’27: 5th place in Lincoln Douglas Debate
  • Henry P. ’26: 6th place in United States Extemporaneous Speaking

The team looks forward to carrying this momentum into their next Speech and Debate tournament, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 1 at Cherokee Trail High School.
