Robotics Team Celebrates More Student Success

Robotics Team Celebrates More Student Success

Another Kent Denver Robotics team has punched its ticket to state! This past Saturday, our three middle school teams attended a blended middle and high school tournament in Windsor, with team Nexus reaching the semifinals. The team of 8th graders also won the Excellence Award, which secured their spot at state. Congratulations to Samuel, Sachin, Henry, Cameron, Lucas, Corbin, Nick and Wiley! They join middle school team Radium and upper school teams Enigma and Shenanigan as state qualifiers.

Our Robotics teams won even more awards Wednesday night at the conclusion of our on-campus league-style tournament. With four sessions over 11 weeks, our five upper school teams and two of the three middle school teams faced 14 other teams from around the Denver metro. Six Kent Denver teams made it to the quarterfinals, with teams Radium, Enigma, Shenanigan and Ziptied reaching the semis. Team Enigma advanced to the finals and won, earning the team’s second tournament championship this month! Team Shenanigan took home the Design Award while team Nexus received the Judges Award.

Congratulations to our entire Robotics program on this incredible success!
