Robotics Season Underway
Kent Denver’s Robotics season is off to a great start! This past weekend, one of Kent Denver’s middle school teams made it all the way to the semifinals of a tournament hosted in Colorado Springs. Congratulations to 8th graders Samuel, Sachin, Hayes, Henry, Cameron, Lucas, Corbin, Nick and Wiley, part of Team Nexus (3946N).
New this year, Kent Denver’s five upper school teams and two of the three middle school teams are competing in a league-style tournament hosted on campus. With four sessions over the course of 11 weeks, our Sun Devils are going up against 14 other teams from around the Denver metro. The first league tournament was hosted last Wednesday, and the next will be held Wednesday, December 3. Scores from the first three ranking sessions will be combined as all teams compete on Wednesday, January 28 in the finals. Aside from the league competition, next up, four upper school teams are heading to a tournament this Saturday, November 22. Good luck, Sun Devils!
