Nearly 40 Sun Devils Recognized with Fall Sports Awards

A total of 39 Kent Denver student-athletes across seven sports have received recognition for their outstanding play this fall! Highlighting the list of accolades are Kobe Thai ‘26, who was named CHSAA 3A Player of the Year for boys soccer after helping the Sun Devils win the state championship, and Tatum Johnson ‘26, who was named CHSAA Offensive Player of the Year after helping lead Kent Denver to the state title game in field hockey. 

So far, 12 Sun Devils have been named First Team All-State in their respective sports: Alden Carlson ’28, Makenna Hengel ‘28 and Tatum Johnson ‘26 in field hockey; Zach Zaitz ‘29 in boys golf; Kobe Thai ‘26 and Brooks Wiley ‘26 in boys soccer; and Noah Bogel ‘27, Vyaan Chopra ‘28, Danny Friedman Valenzuela ‘26, Suleman Ismail ‘26, Noah Landrey ‘29 and Jake Silverman ‘29 in boys tennis. Note: All-State awards for football will be announced in mid-December, so stay tuned to the CHSAA website and the Kent Denver Athletics Instagram to see any recognitions for our Sun Devils.
