Model UN Wraps Up Successful Season

That’s a wrap for Sun Devils Model United Nations (SUNMUN) this school year! From trips to New York City and Copenhagen to conferences around Colorado,  SUNMUN has had an unforgettable season of diplomacy and debate.

The program’s last two local conferences saw a number of students walk away with awards. Congratulations to sophomores Carter and Chase—a double delegation representing China—for winning the Outstanding Delegate award at the JeffCo MUN Conference on March 7. Nicholas ’29—representing South Korea—was awarded Honorable Mention.

At the final conference this past Saturday in Erie, Nicholas and Jack ’29—a double delegation representing the U.S.—won the Outstanding Delegate award, and Axel ’28—representing former Japanese Prime Minister Kantarō Suzuki—won the Best Delegate award.

Congratulations to these students, and our entire SUNMUN program, for an amazing season!
