Kent Denver Celebrates 2025 College-Bound Athletes

Kent Denver Athletics held its end-of-year Signing Day celebration this week to celebrate the 15 student-athletes in the Class of 2025 who will be playing at the next level this fall. Three new athletes recently joined the fold from the group that was previously honored at a school ceremony in December. 

Congratulations to Joseph Covell (Golf; Bowdoin College), Elvis Lloyd (Basketball; Hobart and William Smith Colleges) and Tahna Wilfley (Rugby; University of San Diego, U.S. Women’s Rugby) on their amazing accomplishments!

"Having the opportunity to play a sport at the collegiate level is something that only 6% of all high school athletes can say they’ve accomplished," said Athletic Director Jeff Hollway. "Getting to this point is a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment these athletes have demonstrated throughout the years, including during their time as a Sun Devil. We also know it takes a village—hours and hours of support from coaches, teachers, teammates and, of course, the families who make it all possible. I'm so proud of these students for all that they have achieved on and off the playing field."
