Kent Denver Captures Three Metro League Titles

Kent Denver Captures Three Metro League Titles

Kent Denver can add three more Metro League Championships to its tally! Congratulations to four-time reigning league champion girls tennis, along with girls soccer and girls track and field, which claimed the title for the first time in school history! Boys track and field took second overall as a team, its best finish in league history.

On top of Metro League, girls tennis also swept regionals last week! All seven lines advanced to the 4A individual state tournament, which started Thursday morning and continues through Saturday at Pueblo City Park. The 4A team state championship is also now set, and it’s a rematch of last year with Kent Denver taking on Cheyenne Mountain on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Denver Tennis Park. Good luck, Sun Devils!

Playoffs are underway as of Thursday afternoon for No. 1-seed girls soccer as the team takes on No. 32 KIPP Denver on DeSo Field in CHSAA’s 3A state tournament. Girls lacrosse starts its playoff push right after as our No. 6 Sun Devils take on No. 11 Pine Creek at 5:30 p.m. on DeSo in the 5A tournament

Read below for more updates from the rest of our spring sports as teams wrap up the regular season, including a full list of our 16 first-place finishes from the track and field Metro League Championships!
