Former MLS Player Jeb Brovsky Named New Girls and Boys Varsity Soccer Coach
Kent Denver is excited to announce Jeb Brovsky as the new varsity head coach and leader of both our boys and girls soccer 6-12 programs. A former Major League Soccer player and an experienced coach with a passion for helping young athletes develop on and off the field, he will begin his tenure this spring with the Sun Devils girls soccer team.
Coach Brovsky is a Colorado native with a lifelong love for the game that started at a young age. He grew up playing club soccer for Colorado Rush—where his team won nine consecutive state cup championships. He went on to star at the University of Notre Dame and was named First-Team All Big-East as a senior. After college, Coach Brovsky was drafted in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft in 2011. He had a six-year professional soccer career that included stints with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Montreal Impact, Strømsgodset (Norway), New York City FC and Minnesota United FC (North American Soccer League).
Following his playing career, he transitioned to the coaching world. After initially coaching at the youth and high school level in Minnesota, he was offered a position as an assistant at the University of St. Thomas. He then returned to Colorado, coaching with Colorado Rapids youth soccer and eventually taking over the elite boys program. Following that tenure, he was offered a job as a lead assistant for the men’s soccer team at Yale University. He later moved back to Denver with his family in 2023, where he now serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of The Farm F.C., an organization that aims to connect and empower the soccer community through individualized and group training, as well as mental health and mindset training.
“We are so thrilled to welcome Coach Brovsky to the Kent Denver family,” said KDS Athletic Director Jeff Hollway. “In addition to his illustrious playing and coaching resume, what sets him apart is his passion for using sport as a means to empower student-athletes to be their best selves on and off the field.”
The varsity girls soccer season will get underway with games this March, and Coach Brovsky is excited to hit the ground running for what should be an exciting year ahead for Kent Denver .
“I’m very honored to be in charge of overseeing these two programs,” said Coach Brovsky. “Boys and girls soccer both have a storied past with a lot of success here at Kent Denver. I have high expectations. But my main goal is to unlock every player’s confidence, self-belief and self-awareness in who they want to be. I want them to follow their joy and their passion. I want every player to feel great about themselves and feel like they have unlimited potential and are supported and free to be themselves. I’m so excited to get to know and work with such a bright group of student-athletes!”
