Employees Enjoy Art-Making Workshop 

On Thursday, December 5, several Kent Denver faculty and staff attended an evening workshop with art teacher Sarah Mitchell. Participants created watercolor monoprints by painting on plexiglass plates and then transferring the images to watercolor paper.  

“I was excited to spend a fun and creative night with my colleagues, especially those that I do not get to see on a regular basis,” Ms. Mitchell explained. “Building community and fostering student creativity happens every day in our arts classrooms, and it was great to see those same dynamics play out with my colleagues in the workshop! I also enjoyed seeing them experience being a student again by learning and taking risks while playing with a new medium.”
