Over the past month, Kent Denver students and faculty/staff have enjoyed celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the greater community. Recognized annually from September 15 to October 15, it’s a time to celebrate the positive contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to our country’s achievements, culture and history.
Here at Kent Denver, we’ve recognized the month with an array of classroom activities and campus-wide celebrations—from Middle School students making marigold flowers and skull lanterns in the Impact Studio to Upper School Spanish students studying eight genres of Mexican music and making their own picks for the Latin Grammys in class—plus, a whole lot more!
As part of our Voices of Kent Denver video series, watch some of the highlights from Hispanic Heritage Month in this special video, narrated by Kent Denver sophomore Liam G.
