Boys Tennis Team Finishes State Runner-Up, Wins Three Individual Titles

An action-packed week for Kent Denver boys tennis concluded with a second-place team finish at state and three individual state titles for the Sun Devils. 

At the CHSAA 4A Individual State tournament last weekend in Pueblo, Vyaan Chopra '28 (No. 3 Singles); Jake Silverman '29 and Noah Landrey '29 (No. 2 Doubles); and Suleman Ismail '26 and Danny Friedman Valenzuela '26 (No. 4 Doubles) all captured championships in their respective classifications. The team also earned third-place finishes from Noah Bogel '27 (No. 1 Singles); Liam O'Drobinak '26 (No. 2 Singles); and Reid C. ’26 and Levi Pollyea '27 (No. 1 Doubles). In No. 3 Doubles, Ollie N. '27 and Sohan De '27 made it to the quarterfinals.

Then in Tuesday’s CHSAA 4A Team State Championship, Kent Denver lost a hard-fought match to Colorado Academy to finish as the state runner-up.
