Before winter break, Ms. Christina Fakharzadeh took her two 8th grade history classes to Cherry Hills Village City Hall to speak with City Manager Chris Cramer. The students learned about the structure of local government, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the leadership for Cherry Hills Village.
As part of her teacher intensive—focused on developing strong civic education in the Middle School—Ms. Fakharzadeh is also planning a visit later this month for her 8th graders to meet State Representative Meg Froelich at the Capitol in Denver.
