6th Grade Attends National Western Stock Show
The Class of 2031 got out of the classroom and into the stockyard this week as our entire group of 6th graders had the opportunity to visit the National Western Stock Show on Tuesday, January 14.
From watching roping and barrel racing during the American Quarter Horse and Paint Horse Show, to exploring the CSU Spur campus, connecting with Kent Denver alum Duke Beardsley ’88—the 2025 Coors Western Art Exhibit Featured Artist—and even petting some of the livestock, our students had a blast learning about the tradition and history of the biggest agricultural event in the state!
