Transformational Philanthropy: Next 100 Years Campaign Exceeds Goal

In June of 2016, the Kent Denver Board of Trustees adopted a bold vision for Kent Denver and approved the most ambitious fundraising effort in our school’s history. In the four years since then, our school has been transformed thanks to donors to The Next 100 Years Campaign. Donor generosity surpassed our $31 million goal, allowing us to complete five major building projects, launch the Kent Denver Institutes, support excellence in teaching, and grow our financial aid program.

While we couldn’t have predicted it at the time, the success of the Campaign also allowed us to face the COVID-19 pandemic head on. Larger classrooms, additional common areas, and new outdoor gathering spaces meant we could come together this fall to learn in-person while socially distanced.

This four-year journey, completed just ahead of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Kent School for Girls in 1922, has established a foundation upon which we are now looking toward the challenges and opportunities of Kent Denver School's next 100 years.

Thank you to the families, alumni, faculty, staff, grandparents and Trustees whose extraordinary generosity made this historic undertaking possible.

"Our family gave to The Next 100 Years Campaign because we are deeply grateful for what Kent Denver’s community did for our children Tucker ’13 and Maggie ’19. They were inspired by outstanding teachers and coaches, supported by their peers, and developed a skillset to be successful in college and beyond. This Campaign was our chance to give back to the school that gave our family so much.”—Heather Mulvihill, Campaign Chair

The Next 100 Years Campaign Raised $31.1 million and is over goal. Thank you Kent Denver community!

During Kent Denver’s long history, there have been many key turning points at which the generosity and investments of our community created the institution that brought each of us such amazing benefits.
