KDS Shares Progress Updates on 2020–21 DEI Goals
If you haven't recently visited the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) page on Kent Denver's website, we encourage you to do so today. A number of measurable efforts are underway, and recent accomplishments are detailed in a new section called Latest Updates.
"The DEI Plan for 2020–21 presented specific goals designed to help Kent Denver become a more inclusive school and community," says Jason Mundy, Director of Equity and Community Engagement. "The Board of Trustees' DEI Committee and school leaders take that commitment seriously. We began including updates on the website so students, families, alumni and employees can track our progress, celebrate achievements as they occur and, of course, hold us accountable if necessary."
The DEI page also includes a feedback form where visitors can share thoughts, ideas or questions with the school.
