Alumni Recognized during Cultural Heritage Month Celebrations

Kent Denver’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives include celebrations of diverse cultures and communities throughout the year. In our most recently completed school year, KDS celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American History Month, Diwali, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Arab American History month and Asian-American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

As part of these celebrations, students and Kent’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team created multimedia presentations for assemblies and the many digital display screens across campus. Slideshows featured educational information about each month and some slides recognized Kent Denver alumni who are making a positive impact in the world.
