Alumni young and old are among our biggest advocates, and we love it when you are able to get involved (and stay involved!) with the school. Check out some of the current opportunities below, or visit our Volunteer page for more details.

If you'd like to volunteer for one or more opportunities, please complete our Alumni Volunteer Sign Up form, and someone from the Alumni Office will be in touch about relevant opportunities. We have also started an Alumni Speaker Series. We are looking for alumni who are interested in connecting with current students to speak with them about their career path and professional work. This can mean coming to campus or connecting with students remotely. Our students always benefit when hearing about what our alumni are doing out in the world. We also love hearing about alumni who are doing—or have done—outstanding things. Each spring, we honor one or more alumni who represent "Extraordinary distinction and success in fields of endeavor, commitment to community service, and/or exceptional leadership in one's community while successfully carrying forward excellence in scholarship and character."

If you would like to nominate a Distinguished Alum, please complete the Distinguished Alumni nomination form. Distinguished Alumni Award recipients are announced each April. Nominees may also be featured in the Alumni Connection or in a Perspective article, so please share news of your classmates' accomplishments (or your own!).

Practice College Interviews—Help current students prepare for their college interviews
Institute Mentoring—Provide real-world guidance to students pursuing independent study projects through the Anschutz-Hunt Institute for Entrepreneurial Education, the Rollins Institute for Technology & Design, and the Walker Institute for Wellness.
EmpowHERment organizing—Help launch a KDS alumnae network for women.
College Athletics resource—KDS alumni who played college varsity sports may be paired with KDS student-athletes interested in pursuing a sport at the college level.
Classroom/extracurricular guest speaker—Teachers regularly request help identifying speakers who can provide real-world insight into a particular topic, challenge or career field. Help us expand our alumni expert database!
Class Activities/Reunions—If your class year ends in -3, or -3, now is the time to step forward and volunteer for Alumni Weekend 2023!
Regional Events—To find out if any Kent Denver alumni are in your area or to organize a local “mini-reunion,” please contact the Alumni Office.
