Ice Hockey

Hockey coach Marty Wittmer has watched his student-athletes develop in the rink for 14 years at Kent Denver, and takes great pride in that fact.

“The Kent Denver athletic program provides athletes proper instruction, tools to condition themselves physically and mentally, and opportunities to experience play in order to learn the life lessons sports provide,” he says.

Coach Wittmer thinks the lessons learned when playing for a team are invaluable when facing adversity outside of the sport, and also believes the friendships students make when playing a sport are some of the strongest they will make in their lifetimes.

Coach Wittmer is also a full-time member of our Middle School faculty, and an assistant coach on our boys’ soccer team. He teaches in the sixth grade.
