Coach Ben Brenneman ’01 has been involved in Kent Denver’s lacrosse program since his own high school days. He has headed the boys’ team since 2012, with three years as an assistant coach prior to that.
“Team sports, collectively, have taught me more about life and the kind of person that I want to be than any other experience,” says Coach Brenneman. “There is no better way to learn about hard work, commitment, accountability, teamwork, integrity or physical, emotional and mental toughness than playing sports.” He strives to recreate this experience with the student-athletes he now coaches.
As an assistant coach in 2008, Coach Brenneman helped his team to an undefeated record. He was also a player on the State Championship-winning lacrosse teams in 1999 and 2001.
