Soccer

The Kent Denver girls' soccer team has had a dominant run of success in Colorado, having won seven state championships—including back-to-back 3A state titles over the last two years. 2022 was a nearly perfect season for the Sun Devils, as they went undefeated against fellow 3A opponents. Their only loss came against a 4A school that went on to win the state championship. Kent Denver has also been to the semifinals four times and has qualified for the state tournament in 17 out of the past 18 years.

Coach Chelsie Flagg took over the program for the 2022 spring season after previously serving as the head coach for the Colorado Rapids youth soccer program. She's established a great reputation for being an enthusiastic, high-energy and goal oriented leader in her career, and was excited to bring another state title to Kent Denver in her first season.

"The game of soccer has given me so much, and I want to give that back to anybody I coach," Coach Flagg says. "I want to help girls on our team grow into the player and person that they want to be."
