Trail BikingOffered during the spring sports season, trail biking introduces new riders to basic skills and sharpens the skills of experienced riders.

Led by Coach James Covi, trail biking meets each day after school in the spring. Time is devoted to conditioning on and off the bike, bike skills and safety, and bike maintenance.

"Trail biking is first and foremost for everyone of all skill levels and genders," Coach Covi says. "We ride each day to improve our general cardiovascular health but also to learn biking skills like balancing while stationary, going down stairs and up curbs, as well as basic bike maintenance."

Students must provide their own bikes in good working order, appropriate clothing, a helmet and a simple breakdown kit.
