three hockey players celebrating

Ice HockeyKent Denver's ice hockey program has a proud tradition with two state titles and numerous state tournament appearances since launching as a varsity sport more than 20 years ago. The team made it to the 4A "Frozen Four" in the 2020-21 season and then the quarterfinals the next two years.

With a home rink at the University of Denver's Joy Burns Arena, our Sun Devils get to experience an outstanding venue for practices and competitions at the varsity and junior varsity level.

Through the support of teammates and coaches, the Kent Denver ice hockey program promotes personal development both on and off the ice. That includes players honing their individual skills, as well as their ability to work with teammates and be responsible for themselves, their team and their school. The program looks forward to continuing to build on its past success—which includes two state championships and two state runner-up finishes.
