
Field HockeyWith 13 state championships, Kent Denver field hockey has established itself as one of the premier athletic programs in Colorado.

Interim Head Coach Emily Hazard has been an integral part of the team for the last five years, first as a lead assistant for four years and then as interim head coach in the fall 2025 season, where she helped lead the Sun Devils to the 5A state title game. A former Division 1 goalkeeper at the University of Massachusetts, she aims to draw on her experience as both a player and a coach at Kent Denver.
“I aim to lead with purpose and passion as we support our athletes’ growth both on and off the field," says Coach Hazard.
The Kent Denver field hockey team has a long history of success in the state of Colorado. In addition to their 13 team state championships, the Sun Devils have routinely made deep postseason runs over the years.
Most recently, that includes finishing as a state runner-up in 2024 and 2025, in addition to making two trips to the semifinals and one to the quarterfinals in the previous three seasons.
