Boys LacrosseA pioneering program in Colorado lacrosse, Kent Denver has 12 state titles since interscholastic play began in 1976. A total of 10 Sun Devils players and coaches currently represent Kent Denver in the Colorado Lacrosse Foundation Hall of Fame.

The Sun Devils compete against the state's largest high schools as part of the 5A classification. The team has added to its long history of success in recent years, appearing in state title games in 2018 and 2019 and consecutive trips to the quarterfinals in 2022 and 2023.

In October 2024, Randy Colley was introduced as the new varsity head coach and leader of the school’s 6-12 boys lacrosse program. A longtime coach and decorated collegiate player, Coach Colley brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the game and is excited to lead the Sun Devils into the future. 

“I am passionate about coaching young men and am humbled by the responsibility of carrying on the proud tradition of Kent Denver Lacrosse,” said Coach Colley. 

Coach Colley has 13 years of experience coaching high school lacrosse in Colorado, including 12 as a head coach. He’s led his teams to 116 wins and five state quarterfinal appearances. As a former player at the University of Notre Dame from 1991-95, he is 2nd all-time in school history in total points, with 173 goals and 100 assists in 55 career games. He is also 34th on the NCAA's all-time scoring list.
