Alumni Events

Based on extensive feedback from the Kent Denver alumni community, we are focused on providing the following opportunities to our graduates: Alumni Lifelong Learning, Alumni Back on Campus, and Alumni Supporting Current Students. To address these interests, each year, the Kent Denver Alumni Office and Alumni Board plan a slate of events and volunteer opportunities on campus and throughout the Denver area. We also have yearly Regional Events to connect with alumni around the country. Additional event details are below and will be shared by email in the monthly Alumni Connection e-newsletter!

To receive the latest news about alumni events throughout the year, submit updated contact information, like our Facebook page, or contact Elyse Rudolph, Director of Alumni Relations, at or 303-770-7660 ext. 228.

Fall 2020

  • ALUMNI LIFELONG LEARNING: December—Holiday Maker Party-in-a-Box

In December 2019, we started a new holiday tradition: a Holiday Maker Party for alumni and their families in Kent Denver's Impact Studios. Since we cannot have visitors on campus right now, we're mailing the Maker Party to you!

The Maker Kits will include supplies for two family-friendly projects:

  • Bake Sun Devil-themed cookies using our cookie cutter and red and blue sprinkles. We'll also include the Dining Hall staff's favorite sugar cookie recipe.
  • Build a light-up LED candle designed by our Rollins Institute fellow and maker mastermind Chris Smith. This project will come up with all the parts you'll need, plus written instructions and a link to an instructional video.

Kits are free and will be mailed in early December! To request your own kit, please sign up here. Quantities are limited, so please request your maker kit by Wednesday, November 18 (one kit per family, please).

Spring 2021

  • ALUMNI SUPPORTING CURRENT STUDENTS: February—Practice College Interviews
Help current students practice for upcoming college interviews. Volunteers will serve as mock interviewers, meeting with students virtually one-on-one and offering feedback. Sign up here, and look for additional information in a future Alumni Connection!

Additional volunteer opportunities are available. Options include mentoring a student through one of our Institutes, helping plan the school's 100th birthday celebration in 2022 and more. For additional details and to sign up for one or more volunteer roles, visit the Get Involved page.

Fall 2021

  • ALUMNI BACK ON CAMPUS: October—VIRTUAL Alumni Homecoming Weekend
Join the KDS community for a Homecoming celebration! Check the Alumni Homecoming page for additional details—we'll be sharing updates there as events are confirmed.

Milestone reunion classes (graduation years ending in 0, 1, 5 or 6) are also invited to save the date for in-person reunions on campus in October 2021.
