Based on extensive feedback from the Kent Denver alumni community, we are focused on providing the following opportunities to our graduates: Alumni Lifelong Learning, Alumni Back on Campus, and Alumni Supporting Current Students. To address these interests, each year, the Kent Denver Alumni Office and Alumni Board plan a slate of events and volunteer opportunities on campus and throughout the Denver area. We also have yearly Regional Events to connect with alumni around the country. Additional event details are below and will be shared by email in the monthly Alumni Connection e-newsletter!
To receive the latest news about alumni events throughout the year, submit updated contact information, like our Facebook page, or contact Elyse Rudolph, Director of Alumni Relations, at email@example.com or 303-770-7660 ext. 228.
- ALUMNI LIFELONG LEARNING: Sunday, Jan. 26—Reception and Monet Exhibit Private Viewing
Alumni are invited to a reception at the FIRE Lounge in downtown Denver's ART Hotel. In addition to food and drinks, we'll learn more about Monet and Impressionism from faculty guest speakers. Alums may also purchase tickets to a private viewing of the Denver Art Museum's exhibit Claude Monet: The Truth in Nature. Check the December 2019 and January 2020 Alumni Connection e-newsletters for additional details!
- ALUMNI SUPPORTING CURRENT STUDENTS: Wednesday, Feb. 26—Practice College Interviews
Help our current juniors prepare for their college interviews by volunteering as a mock interviewer. Additional details will be shared in the Alumni Connection e-newsletter in early 2020.
- ALUMNI BACK ON CAMPUS: Wednesday, April 8—Ethics Day and presentation of the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award
Each year, we recognize one or more alumni who embody excellence in scholarship, character, leadership and service to their community. Alums are invited to celebrate honorees at an alumni reception and at the all-school Ethics Day assembly. The 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award winner(s) will be announced soon.
