Alumni Events

Based on extensive feedback from the Kent Denver alumni community, we are focused on providing the following opportunities to our graduates: Alumni Lifelong Learning, Alumni Back on Campus, and Alumni Supporting Current Students. To address these interests, each year, the Kent Denver Alumni Office and Alumni Board plan a slate of events and volunteer opportunities on campus and throughout the Denver area. We also have yearly Regional Events to connect with alumni around the country. Additional event details are below and will be shared by email in the monthly Alumni Connection e-newsletter!

Spring 2020

  • ALUMNI SUPPORTING CURRENT STUDENTS: Wednesday, Feb. 26—Practice College Interviews
    Help our current juniors prepare for their college interviews by volunteering as a mock interviewer. Additional details will be shared in the Alumni Connection e-newsletter in early 2020.
  • ALUMNI SUPPORTING CURRENT STUDENTS: Wednesday, March 4—Career Fair
    Share your professional journey with students and help students practice skills like pitching and networking! Additional details were shared in the February 2020 Alumni Connection e-newsletter.
  • ALUMNI BACK ON CAMPUS: Wednesday, April 8—Ethics Day and presentation of the 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award
    Each year, we recognize one or more alumni who embody excellence in scholarship, character, leadership and service to their community. Alums are invited to celebrate honorees at an alumni reception and at the all-school Ethics Day assembly. The 2020 Distinguished Alumni Award winner is Chantal Weatherly-White Unfug '85!
  • REGIONAL EVENT: Thursday, April 30—Boston Area Alumni Happy Hour
    Boston area alumni are invited to join Head of School Rand Harrington for a happy hour in downtown Boston. We will share time and location information in the March and April Alumni Connections.
  • REGIONAL EVENT: Wednesday, June 24—Bay Area Alumni Happy Hour
    Head of School Rand Harrington invites Bay Area alumni to join him for a summer happy hour in downtown San Francisco. Look for additional time and location information in a future Alumni Connection!

Fall 2020

  • ALUMNI BACK ON CAMPUS: Friday, Oct. 2–Sunday, Oct. 4—Alumni Homecoming Weekend
    Celebrate Kent Denver Homecoming with your friends, former teachers and the entire KDS community! All alumni are invited to events on and off campus throughout the weekend of October 2–4, 2020, whether it's your reunion year or not. And for our milestone reunion classes ending in 0 or 5, we will have celebrations taking place for your classes throughout the weekend as well.
