Welcome to the Tiny Farm Day Camp!
The Tiny Farm is built on more than an acre of Kent Denver School's beautiful campus. Mirroring the “Tiny House” movement, the farm works to incorporate the elements of sustainability, efficiency, green energy, best-practice land use and animal care. Small barns, a full organic garden with plants grown from native Colorado seeds, developing fruit trees, a composting display, and a wonderful selection of child-friendly animals all pack the Tiny Farm with outstanding opportunities for learning, connection and friendship.
Tiny Farm Day Camp will provide an inspiring and innovative farm and ecological learning experience for children 7-10 years old.
- All activities are done in groupings of 10-12 students, offering age-appropriate experiences, community building and hands-on learning in a safe and individualized environment.
- The Tiny Farm curriculum is designed to meet the learning needs of specific camper age groups. Our camp activities will include environmental studies, Colorado history of water and land use, seed sovereignty, ecology, animal husbandry, nature crafts, community building through outdoor games and activities, all while inspiring the development of environmental, global citizens.
- Students will learn to safely interact with animal friends including rabbits, goats, ponies, chickens and baby chicks!
