On Nov. 19, Kent Denver sixth-graders made 72 pies and their families bought and cooked 34 turkeys to serve at Capitol Hill Community Services' annual Thanksgiving dinner for homeless men, women and children in downtown Denver. The meal will be served by members of Kent Denver's varsity basketball teams.
