Seniors Find Success in Early College Applications
Seniors Find Success in Early College Applications

It was a busy fall for the Class of 2018 and their college counselors. More than 97% of the class, or 111 students, submitted an early application to at least one school. As of Jan. 11, 92 seniors had already received at least one acceptance letter to a diverse and outstanding group of colleges (see list below).

"We are proud of the range of schools our seniors are considering," write college counselors Matt Doyle, Jessica Raab and Katie Thomas. "Starting with seminars in the spring of their sophomore year, we began the process of introducing them to the wide-ranging possibilities that exist. We continued to work with them throughout the entirety of their junior year, helping students self-reflect and find schools that match characteristics that matter to them. As seniors, the smart and balanced college lists that they have created show just how much attention and respect the students have given to their applications. We are thrilled by the early results and are excited to see what the rest of the process has in store for the Class of 2018!"

The list of colleges offering admission to Kent Denver seniors will grow over the next few months as regular decision results are released, and Kent Denver will share more good news as our seniors make their college choices!
