Scores from last school year's Advanced Placement exams are in, and the hard work put in by students yielded impressive results. In May, 229 students took a total of 572 AP tests in 24 subjects. Eighty-nine percent of exams received scores of three or higher; 65% of exams scored a four or five.
The College Board designated 101 Kent Denver students as AP Scholars for achieving outstanding results in three or more AP tests. Of these, 31 were named Scholars, 20 were named Scholars with Honor, 50 were recognized as Scholar with Distinction and seven earned the highest level of recognition—National AP Scholar—for scoring an average of four or higher on eight or more exams.
Congratulations to our 2018–19 AP Scholars!
