Seniors Weigh College Choices

The Kent Denver Class of 2021 has tackled yet another important endeavor—exploring their post-secondary options, including gap year opportunities and applying to college. As the national candidates' reply deadline nears, seniors are weighing their options.

College counselors Slade Burns, Matt Doyle, and Jessica Raab applaud the seniors for the care and attention they gave to their college search and application process, most of which took place virtually. "We're proud of the way students navigated a college search that looked nothing like what they imagined," say the college counselors. "They produced thoughtful and introspective writing, and they asked good questions and engaged well with admission officers in virtual visits."

KDS seniors have received acceptances to nearly 190 schools to date. "We're excited by the diversity of schools that our seniors have been accepted to," say the college counselors. "It is an impressive list that includes broad geographic diversity in the U.S. and beyond. Additionally, the types of schools and the range of scholarships awarded to our seniors represent the varied interests and talents of our students."

Congratulations seniors!
