Equity and community engagement at Kent Denver stems from an ethos and practice centered on cultural competency and agility.  Our students pursue that powerful combination of humility, compassionate curiosity, respect and confidence that enables them to champion difference and commonality, celebrate lived experiences and perspective, seek understanding and balance, and to articulate and advocate in the face of challenges and inequities.  We challenge every community member to demonstrate this capacity in classrooms, in hallways, on the field, and in spaces that stretch past our campus, because we believe this practice fosters true inclusion and belonging and is the foundation of academic excellence and citizenship.

Through Ethics Day, we encourage students to engage with difficult issues and consider a variety of perspectives with humility and openness. Ethical thinking influences our interactions with others, steering us toward paths of integrity, compassion, and responsible decision-making. Ethical considerations compel us to embrace fairness and justice.
