Head Coach Danny Main joined Kent Denver in 2021. With more than 20 years of coaching experience at the high school, college and competitive club level, Coach Main looks forward to continuing the outstanding tradition of KDS boys' soccer, which includes state titles in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019.
"As Head Coach, my job is to put student-athletes in places where they can be successful and thrive," Coach Main says. "My coaching style is inspired by the following saying: 'When we treat people merely as they are, they will remain as they are. When we treat them as if they were what they should be, they will become what they should be.'"
At Kent Denver, Coach Main—a former professional soccer player who was a goalkeeper for the Utah Freezz and the Utah Blitzz—draws from his experience as a coach and as a player to help athletes make strides on and off the field.
